City Market

City Market owner Jose Michel loves the freedom and community connection he’s gained from starting his own business – and becoming his own boss.

“I like running the grocery store a lot, because I’ve grown a lot,” said Jose. “And I like to be in touch with the community and the neighboring towns.”

But when he was just starting out, Jose needed help purchasing the equipment required to open his local market. After touching base with his accountant, Jose reached out to us at Access Plus Capital, where we were happy to secure the funding he needed.

“It was a beautiful experience because since our very first call, Access Plus was very respectful. And they always paid close attention to my needs,” said Jose. “And they were able to get me more than I wanted.”

Now, Jose and City Market are a cornerstone of the Reedley community – and he’s recommending Access Plus Capital to Reedley’s other aspiring business owners.

“I would recommend Access Plus 100 percent, because they really do help the Hispanic community,” said Jose.
